Dre and Bow become extremely politically active and aim to swing Junior into embracing liberal views when Junior joins the Young Republicans Club at school, as Junior starts to become fond of conservative views as well as another African-American girl who is also part of the club.
- As Dre emphasized, African-Americans actually do very heavily favor the Democratic Party. President Barack Obama won 93% of the African American vote in his 2012 re-election and Democratic candidates before him (John Kerry, Al Gore) have earned a margin of 88-90% of the African-American vote.
