Born and raised in Los Angeles, Emily Arlook was always surrounded by the entertainment industry. After training at the Lee Strasberg Institute, she appeared in many productions such as the feature film Just Add Water, FOX's The Grinder; MTV's Mary + Jane; Amazon's Hand of God; and NBC's The Good Place. She can currently be seen starring alongside Yara Shahidi in Freeform's Grown-ish, the official spin-off to ABC's hit series Black-ish.
Arlook has also made an impression in the digital space starring in Refinery 29's original web series Shitty Boyfriends, alongside Sandra Oh and from producer Lisa Kudrow. Arlook also created and starred in Funny or Die's original short Home, a parody of the feature film Room; and will be seen as Lucy in Vice's upcoming second season of Pillow Talk, alongside Patrick J. Adams.
