Tika Sumpter (née Euphemia LatiQue Sumpter; born June 20, 1980) is an American actress, producer, television host, and model. She portrays a young Alicia Johnson on Mixed-ish.

As an accomplished actor and producer, Tika Sumpter has established herself as one of Hollywood's rising talents. She most recently starred in David Lowery's The Old Man & The Gun, opposite Robert Redford, Danny Glover and Sissy Spacek; Tyler Perry's Nobody's Fool, opposite Tiffany Haddish; and the independent feature An Acceptable Loss, opposite Jamie Lee Curtis.

Next, Sumpter will star in Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog, alongside Jim Carrey and James Marsden; the upcoming independent feature film The Nomads; and in Kenya Barris' Black-ish spin-off Mixed-ish for ABC.

In 2016, Sumpter delivered what Todd McCarthy of The Hollywood Reporter called, "a spot-on performance" as Michelle Obama in Miramax's feature film Southside With You, which she co-produced with John Legend. The film was an official selection of the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Her other feature credits include Universal's hit action-comedy franchise Ride Along, opposite Kevin Hart and Ice Cube; HBO's Emmy® Award-winning film Bessie with Queen Latifah; and Universal's award-winning James Brown biopic Get on Up with Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Chadwick Boseman.

On television, Sumpter is known for her work on OWN's highest-rated series The Haves and the Have Nots. She stars as Candace Young in the one-hour drama written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry. She can also be heard on the new hit TBS animated show Final Space with Fred Armisen. Her past television credits include the CW's Gossip Girl, BET's The Game and the Daytime Emmy Award-winning soap opera One Life to Live, which garnered her an NAACP Image Award nomination.
